I believe this was a bye to be played at a later date, so the boys in blue will get a chance for some nid killing at some point. Time shall tell!

Matt vs Angelito (Guard vs Tau)

Boy, I got this wrong. Guard got slapped and it appears the greater good was with the fish heads. Guess the emperor doesn't protect like he should. Maybe Tau are the ones to watch out for, big scoring and keeping the opponent pinned down.

Leo Vs Dickie (EC vs Guard)

The only thing I predicted right was that I would lose. Was super close, Dickie stealing it in the last turn. Fulgrim played his luck but ultimately didn't do a lot. Dickie used all his knowledge and experience to persevere and bring home the W!

Nids vs t Sons (take and hold vs priority assets)

I guess it is time for my Chaos loving buddy to take the field and get some points up for the grand annihilator. He is hitting the league with what appears to be a well-balanced list with some flexibility. Has the Primarch, Magnus ready to cast some spells, and terminators that are difficult to shift, having loads of shots. He is going into the Nids, hunting their biomass with lots of big monsters. They will be difficult to stop and pretty difficult to kll

I think Magnus comes out on top! I can see the T Sons blowing the bugs away with their sorcery phase!

Ec vs Guard (Disruption vs purge)

Guard got a pasting from the fish heads last time, can they do better against the party boys? Fulgrim and defiler were awful, not helped by me forgetting half the guns defiler had. Fulgrim has no excuse, he just didnt pull his weight. Matt’s 2nd game with guard list may help with repetition and knowing it better, I'm sure he has planned to make changes after the first game. Can he avoid the choppy EC!

Two armies that are licking their wounds... grand annihilator or the emperors finest? I'm gonna have to go with Guard! The tanks are difficult to shift for my boys and I think Matt might make me regret my policy of brining my primarch.

Dickie vs Angelito

Guard vs Tau (Purge vs priority assets).

Save the big bots to the end! Angelito’s tau scored big and minimised guards impacted last game, can he repeat it against Dickie? Dickie proved that certain units who are normally overlooked (Certainly by me) can be very effective and a thorn in the side.

I thought Tau vs Guard in game 1 would be gunline vs gunline and close, but it did not happen, could there be more to Tau? Dickie’s guard are certainly no gunline. I think they match up favours Dickie, who proved he can adapt and overcome. I suspect a high scoring game again, but Dickie to go 2-0.
