40k League - 11th - Season 1 - Round 6 - Division 2

Round 6

It’s a nice short one today for you all folks. Mostly because we are all fixed on LGT and prepping for that so who wants to spend valuable practice time reading a blog on League 2 of all places.

And also because I forgot.

First up we’ve got myself vs the good Doctor.

CSM vs Olly

A nice little recon mirror to start us up. Now Olly may have a slight advantage here with a few

faster units however his faster units able to run up and reach the objectives and do actions are also his killing pieces. Does he really wanna trade them? Whilst I will send up Rhinos with nasty surprises inside drop off the heavy hitters and be left with cheap action monkeys. Either way this could go a crazy cat and mouse game or it will just pivot into tabling each other and scoring with what’s left. Let’s see how it pans out but regardless of what way the

game goes I gotta back myself for the sake of my own pride.

Next up we have Ryan and Joe

This game was played ahead of time and as such we have our victor. From speaking to both

players it was a real nail biter coming all the way down to the last activation. Joe had to run

away with a rhino but didn’t score ahead to realise it living would have won him the game. A

cheeky play from Ryan to just get in range of it meant victory for the imperial Plankers.

Finally for games to be played we have Alexei and Gary.

Now Alexei has been on a bit of a roll recently BUT when it mattered the most (my previous

predictions) Gary did pull through and I honestly think he could do it again applying the same

skill expression he displayed vs James golden boys...FULLLL SEEENNNDDDDDD

gonna back to big dawg here and say Gary’s got it.
