Penultimate week complete. Final placings all up for grabs. Let's get to it.
Ross V Tom
Prediction: Ross
This really was a battle for the ages. Skalds will be telling saga's of these for epochs to come! The build up to such a game was totally justified and no one was left disappointed. I am not sure any of us have been so engrossed with how this unfolded.
Tom couldn't make and Ross won by default.

Me V Mike: 83-84
Prediction: Mike
OK so I kind of got my SM mojo back, partially because I spent every waking moment of the weekend gone tweaking Deamons lists and not being happy with any of them. I don't like the list but I was happy to be playing them.
So I lost but it was a fun game - could have been knows as "The Battle of Two Whiffers" though as both of our percentage of 1s and 2s was absurd. I went first and T1 killed an exposed Rhino and a few of the disembarking Legionaries, so was quite happy. Then Mike went and achieved very little at all, I thought the game was mine. Even though I did forget to auto fall back back my Combi Lt from his chosen and deny him 4VP (only a game changing mistake on a key pieces, it's cool).
However I then proceeded to absolutely whiff on the slap back, then he did as well, then I did. It was a grueling series of handbags across the board. Except for one man....
Cypher. What a fucking cuck. I had an opportunity to overwatch him early but thought I would give him a pass (not that my Redeemer would ever have done it rolling 3 on 2D6 every turn save one the piece of shit). This was a horrendous error as his Vect crippled my expansion flank and then when I had the upper hand in the middle - killed most possessed from a unit and it is T4, 3 Bladeguard and Judiciar left and just Cypher to challenge them. Well he challenged them right into the fucking ground. And I bet he laughed while he did it. Cuck.

Max V Chris: 92-94
Prediction: Max
It sounds like I was right for most of the game. Chris actually was openly weeping at several points during the first few turns. Unfortunately Max made the mistake of sitting down and this both broke his recently-operated-on anus and mind. This, obviously, opened the door, figuratively and literally, for Chris to enter and dominate.

Jack V Craig: 20-80
Prediction: Jack
This really was a battle for the ages. Skalds will be telling saga's of these for epochs to come! The build up to such a game was totally justified and no one was left disappointed. I am not sure any of us have been so engrossed with how this unfolded.
Jack couldn't make and Craig won by default.

Sean V Dan: 87-81
Prediction: Sean
I actually caught Dan vigorously touching grass outside Broad Oak, just before coming in, or at least that what he told me was doing - he was crouched down with his back to me so I assume it's legit.
Alas all the grass touching was not enough to get the job done and, as I don't really know anything about what happened in the game, I will leave you with just the weird masturbating Dan story.

Mark V Freddie: 82-86
Prediction: Freddie
Mark picked up my prediction, licked it, and threw it right in my face here. He also has a pet brick called "my prediction". Has the Hobby Henchmen curse of Freddie reared its ugly head again or is it, maybe, that 40 Blood Claws is actually just a bit shit? Who knows!

Angus V Ben: 82-59
Prediction: None made as it felt like bullying
Angus, lover of wooden objects shaped like spoons, defeated Ben, collector of bottle openers.

Gray V Kyle: 80-20
Prediction: Gary
This really was a battle for the ages. Skalds will be telling saga's of these for epochs to come! The build up to such a game was totally justified and no one was left disappointed. I am not sure any of us have been so engrossed with how this unfolded.
Kyle couldn't make and Gray won by default.
