40k League - 11th - Season 1 - Round 5 - Division 5

Hello and welcome back. Thank you to all three of you that read this, it means a lot to me to see that members of the Hobby Henchman community are wanting to see how badly things are going at the bottom. Either that or they have misread the league and clicked on the wrong blog.

Force dispositions and lists seem to be changing all the time, thus going forward I’ll just be listing factions not the dispositions as it will make the writing of these blogs and I’m sure the reading off a lot quicker.

Before we get to the good bit lets maintain out levels of ‘whelmed’ by reviewing the scores from round 4!

Results:

John (Tau) v Phil (Blood Angels)

Prediction: John

Result: A 50:50, John I’m sure will get the win when this comes to being played

Thomas (Ultramarines) v Neil (Ultramarines)

Prediction: Thomas

Result: Thomas, the late commers winning streak continues

Aidan (Custodes) v Ben (Ultramarines)

Prediction: Aidan

Result: Ben, I got it wrong. Availability is the key to victory

Jamie (Blood Angels) v Nick (Thousand Sons)

Prediction: Jamie

Result: Jamie, both had car problems. Jamie had less so he got the win!

Predictions:

Ok, now later than it should be lets get into the part which you have all been waiting for. Which of these bottom tier & new to Hobby Henchman league players are going to win the next games.

John (Tau) v Thomas (Ultramarines)

Prediction: John

Well folks on the top table we have the game which will likely crown the winner of the league; unless things go horrifically wrong after this. In the Blue corner we have John with the Tau (for now reasons other than his opponent’s models are blue); John has really found his stride with the Tau and has built up a suitable win streak. In the Red Corner Thomas has also managed to make a convincing number of wins but has the late entry crushed his dreams of promotion? The guns of Johns Tau certainly hope so.

Ben (Ultramarines) v Jamie (Blood Angels)

Prediction: Ben

I have to give this to Ben, he has more game wins and a more powerful faction. Ben has a pair of beautifully painted Vindicators which he has at the most a month left to play with. I’m sure that he’ll have an enjoyable time with them. Jamie, I hope that I’m wrong in these predictions. Just avoid the shooting, get into combat and stay on the objectives. You got this!

Neil (Ultramarines) V Nick (Thousand Sons)

Prediction: Neil

Well this is going to be a quick and easy one, Neil will get the win for this one. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over whilst expecting different results. That’s certainly the case for playing TSons, roll on the end of the league where I can stop playing this magical ****.

Phil (Blood Angles) V Aidan (Custodes)

Prediction: Aidan

The Custodes are strong as an army, Blood Angels sadly are not. If they can get the dates to align I see Aidan getting the win.
