40k League - 11th - Season 1 - Round 3 - Division 4

Round 2  round up

The 2nd round is done, lets review how bad i am at this. It is safe to say that the great ocean is not working for me.  

G1- Nids vs T sons 

I predict a narrow win for T sons, due to Marks low model count. He pulled off an impressive 9 point win against the sorcerer supreme from Prospero. He took great enjoyment proving me wrong twice now. Will I learn a predict him a win....Tune in to find out.  

G2- Astra Militarum against Tau 

Another poor prediction. I have bet against Tau twice, and they have twice proved they are better than their opponents, must be greatly good! Even closer this one. 5 Points win, good work.  

G3- Astra Militarum vs Slaanesh emperors children.  

I predicted Astra, betting against myself, I pulled out a draw. 82 all. That does not tell the story of this game. In a game that was more beautiful and thematic, even Serena D’Angelus would have been proud. The big emperor protected and prevented so much stuff from dying, it was almost as if he imbued the Astra with his perpetual nature. Emperors' children were so excited that they forgot to score points as they were having too much fun killing, the dark prince would have approved.  

Predictions for Rd 3.  

This will shock you, but the first game will be the emperors' children, oh yes, not the main event this time.  

G1. EC vs Ultramarines! PA vs take and hold. 

The EC list is working a little better, lots of killing and action potential, still a stiff breeze or a stiff invun can scupper any plans. Ultramarines can deliver both of these in abundance. Ultramarines look to hero hammer and back Guiliman, whereas the EC have dropped their Primarch (The shame!) I feel that this is going to be the ultras game to throw away. Big win for the boys in blue. Pax ultrama. 80-65 

G2. Dickie Vs The rubric commander himself- Harry 

Take and hold Mirror! 

The T son’s can pack a punch with magnus and have some durability with the horridly shootie terminators. I'm sure the great ocean will support the son’s, but has Harry become illiterate and succumbed to the joy of the Waaaggh! Having played Astra and the horrid Bulgryn, the T sons might want to stay dust on their world of sorcery. Add the too Dickie’s experience I can't see past a fairly one-sided Victory.  

Big win for Astra 95-60 

G3. The main event. Two undefeated titans who I have bet against twice! 

Mark vs Angelito.  

Tau vs Nids. PA vs Take and hold. 

Tau have been good, very very good. Taking out the two guard players proving that they are not to be taken lightly. The gun line is obviously working well and Im sure they have a gun big enough to squash some bugs. Mark is on a bit of a run. Obviously dropping the weaker species and packing the Xeno scum’s lines with nothing but Alpha Xeno is proving a hard nut to crack and shift. Obviously stopping the dying is helping with take and hold. I honestly want to say this would be a draw, just to continue betting against these two, but if im being serious, Tau for the win. They will have a bigger gun and more of them. Bugs get splatted.
