Casual Week 5 Post Game Roundup

Two games today (well more like 1.5 but still) both with loyalists versus traitors – can Dave keep up his chase on Luke and can Joel finish a game? All your questions will be answered today, so fucking exciting.

Andy V Dave – Ultras/DG – Vital Ground

Relegated to the very last box of terrain these two lovely gentlemen squared off. As we all know both Andy and Dave are vicious in their pursuit of victory and nearly intolerable to play against so they deserve each other.

As we know Dave has his PBC bunker and Andy has a Land Raider and a Tactical Squad – that is the full extend of my knowledge and honestly, it is everything we need to.

Dave said that the terrain was disadvantageous to Andy but I think that was just being friendly after victory – terrain looked up to standard in terms of distribution and footprint, if a little on the short side!

The victory was to be short lived however as drama unfolded! This will live long in the legendarium of Legion as one of the biggest and lifechanging events to happen within those hallowed walls. Are you ready for a tale of woe and heroism so taut with tension most will need a lie down after hearing?

Turns out Andy hadn’t added Primary T2 and it was a draw. Didn’t see that coming did you!

Joel V Simon – DG/SW – Scorched Earth

The staunchly resilient wall of plague to hold out against the howling charge of wolves? We will never know. Joel and Simon managed to pull off an impressive two turns in four hours!

Joel has taken responsibility for the timing and ceded Simon the marginal win here – 71-70. They talked it out as best as possible.Personally I blame the awful Eldar terrain they were forced to play with – would put anyone off.
