Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who can predict the most of all,
Is it Jack with hairline way back?…
Or does he just chat shit and pretend he knows what he’s talking about

With Round 1 complete we can see how well I managed to predict the game’s outcome and prove my mystical powers beyond any doubt.
First to face the might of my foresight!
Ryan Vs Gary
IK-purge vs CK-purge
First correct prediction of this exciting round 1 for the league. And, from what I’ve heard it was a pretty brutal game. Both armies started off pretty cagey due to the amount of firepower each army brought. And even with the purge mirror advantage Ryan had it was still a surprisingly close game. In these types of match ups it can be very quick to lose control of the game as soon as one player gets a bit of momentum going, especially if they manage to pick up a few knights in a turn. But Gary made sure to keep scoring his secondaries even if he wasn’t able to get the kill more, he was gonna keep it as tight as possible.
Now luckily this loss hasn’t affected Gary in the slightest and he is still pumped and ready to continue playing in the league caring about all future results…
Victory for Ryan and the Imperial Knights and so far my first prediction correct. Let’s see if the theme will continue and I will be crowned king of warhammer knowledge and famed for my foresight.

Next up to feel their fortune read!
Custodes clad in gold, World Eaters painted… red!
James Vs Joe Fucking Adams
Custodes-Purge Vs WE-Purge
Another meat grinder and whilst the grinding of meat definitely occurred the real question on everyone’s lips is did crab lord Jack correctly predict the result?
Why yes. Yes he did.
From the short time I saw the table I witnessed a brutal display of strength of turn 2 with what looked like the majority of the custodes force in Joes face. Not a great place to be but at least James didn’t also have some custodes backed up in deep strike ready to support…
And upon further investigation on Joes clap back turn some key units made some impressive charges out of deep strike even if they needed to use his command re-roll. Good thing Kharns brick didn’t end up rolling snake eyes on a short charge…
Victory for James

Now come and see it true,
Will this prediction leave Jack with balls of blue?
For this is just his final wish,
To not be let down by those damn fish!
Alexei Vs Olly
Tau-Purge Vs Tau-Recon
Now unfortunately no amount of predictive power could prevent such a thing as a clash of diaries. And as such their catch up game will be played at a later date.
No one will see the incredible feat performed by myself. And in a way, it might be for the best. Some people’s gifts are best left hidden it seems. (Haha, 11th ed puns)
For my next marvellous spell,
With knowledge gained no chance to fall,
Unless…GW chaannnnggggeeedddd it all
So with the first dataslate happening right after the wrap up of round 1 the grand predictor has found himself in a bit of a sticky situation and years of research have been wasted. However I will do my best once again.

Round 2 predictions:
Jack Vs James
CSM - (probably recon) vs Custodes - TBD
First off I see it only being fair to predict the result of my own game. With the Chaos space marines taking on the golden might of the custodes it is tricky to foresee the result with such little knowledge of what James might take. However I have to back my own boys and predict the win
Predictions : Jack

Ryan Vs Alexei
Knights - Tau
Secondly, we go to the knights vs the fish folk of the greater good. Will this be twice in a row the plank man himself can dominate with his sturdy form? Or will he fall to the volume of whichever version of Tau the lion Alexei takes!
Whilst both armies have had some fairly big changes with points I think tau were hit a lot harder. However, this may have been for good reason. I don’t doubt they still have the units to make a strong gun line whilst also having the speed and rules to naturally benefit from the changes we’ve seen coming into this new edition and with the nerfs felt by Imperial Knights seriously lowering the ease ability of benefitting from both the Gate Wardens silly line AND having access to purge in those lists I do believe it could skew towards a win for the tau. Knights don’t mind needing to do some actions since they can still activate in the shooting phase but limiting their availability to play around the kill and kill more scoring from the original dispositions players took. Will be very interesting to see how this game pans out.
Predictions: Alexei

Olly vs Joe A
Tau Vs WE
Next up on the chopping block with got the flurry of fury himself Joe fucking Adams taking on our second member of the greater good. Similarly to the other predictions with such little info on what their dispositions will be or even what style of lists they will take I’m shooting in the dark here. Luckily I’m basically daredevil.
With world eaters not seeing really any changes but receiving some buffs in the way of point drops I need to pray it is enough for the choppy world eating boys to have some more play. In saying that I still strongly believe tau are going to be a menace. Even if it is a slightly trimmed down and more tamed menace.
With that being said the planet munchers only need to pick up a few scary pieces before the output of tau can be seriously blunted. And if Olly doesn’t position correctly he could find an Angron getting all up in his greater good…
Prediction: Olly

Last but not least…someone who’s earned a holiday…he’s had a hard time being a legend and I think it’s about time he got to relax and break his back playing with more than 7 models.
Enjoy the sun big slime. Next round your back on the chaos knight grind wether you like it or not.
